2025 Superstar Seed

The 2025 LE Superstar Succulent Seed is available to Official Potted Market Sims who are active participants in the Market Sim Benefit Pot program only (and have been active official market sims for at least 90 days).

ALL Events must be approved by the Market Sim Manager (Claudia Dereham) to qualify for the seed.

QUALIFYING EVENTS

Contests and games with a CLEAR winner, or up to THREE winners placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the contest.

Examples: Decorating Contests, Bingo or Trivia Nights, etc.

RULES

  • Each auction house is only allowed ONE (1) Superstar Seed Event per month, with up to three (3) winners.
  • No entry fees for any contests.
  • Contests must take place within ONE specific time block lasting 1-4 hours and be limited to ONE DAY ONLY. Contests occurring close to midnight may go into the next day, but must still adhere to a 4 hour maximum continuous window.
  • Any contest that requires set up (for example, a decorating contest) may use pre-contest time for set up, however the contest/voting must occur during the designated time frame.
  • Decorating Contests must be free, open to all players and not limited to Market Sim renters. (No stall decorating contests, no contests where rez rights require a group-entry fee to join)
  • Contests must be MONITORED by a market staff member while running.
  • Contests must be transparent about how winners are chosen – no secret judges.
  • Seeds may not be given randomly via raffle.
  • Seeds may not be sold by the Market Sim for any reason.
  • No additional prizes are permitted for the events – this includes money and other gifts.
  • Market Sim Staff MAY NOT win this seed on the sim they work on (they are welcome to participate in any contests, so long as they are not submitted winners).
  • You must advertise the event in the Official Potted Ad group at least 5 days before the event.
  • You must list your event on the Official Potted Calendar.
  • Displays for this seed are not available.
  • All contests must be fair and designed to promote community engagement.
  • Markets must be established as official Market Sims for at least 90 days before they are eligible to host Superstar Seed contests.

AWARDING SEEDS

To receive the Superstar Seed, BOTH the market and the winning player MUST submit a ticket so we can match them up.

Seeds will be sent to your winners by Potted. Please file a ticket with the NAMES and UUIDS of your winners, along with the EVENT NAME and your Market Sim Name in the title of the ticket.

WINNERS

Please submit your ticket and make sure you include your SL USERNAME, and the MARKET NAME and DATE of the contest so we can locate you.

Players who do not want to use their personal real-life emails are welcome to create a free email account just for Potted tickets at a website like Gmail or Hotmail. We recommend saving the login information for the new email so you can check on ticket status.

IMPORTANT

Potted reserves the right to request that a contest be restarted or changed entirely if it is being exploited or if there are significant issues with how it is being run.
