The Potted Porch Press – Issue #8

The Potted family continues to grow, and today we’re excited to officially welcome Sarahlin Constantine to the Potted Staff Team!

Many members of our community already know Sarahlin as a friendly face, dedicated plant enthusiast and active member of our Potted world. Now she’ll be bringing that same passion and enthusiasm to the staff team, and we couldn’t be happier to have her join us! We thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get to know her a little better so here’s what we learned about Sarahlin!

🌱For those who may not know you yet, tell us a little about yourself and your journey to becoming part of the Potted Staff Team.🌱

Sarahlin: “Hi! I’m Sarahlin! I’m a gamer girl who loves watering plants, creating art, spending time with my sweet husband and dog, and collecting all things cute. I work with the Foxtrot team as a designer, and one day Cort asked if I’d be interested in joining the Potted team. I was both surprised and excited, and I’m really happy to have the opportunity to be part of the team!”

🌈What first attracted you to Potted, and what made you fall in love with the game?🌈

Sarahlin: “Picture it: November 2025. My friends Spice and Nelson were traveling in real life, and I offered to water their Potted plants while they were away. During that time, I got my very first plant: Lothar Jane, a Weepy Succulent Pot in Pink. Spice and Nelson also gifted me Peek of Pink. While they were gone, I somehow kept acquiring more and more plants… and that’s how it all started!”

🌸Do you remember your very first plant or a favorite early Potted memory?🌸

Sarahlin: “I already mentioned my first plant, Lothar Jane, my Weepy Succulent Pot in Pink, but my favorite early Potted memory is becoming best friends with Cinny. When I started playing, I never expected a game to introduce me to one of my closest friends. I’ve collected a lot of wonderful plants since then, but no rare seed, special pot, or collection could ever top that friendship.”

🪴If you could only grow one type of plant forever in Potted, which would you choose and why?🪴

Sarahlin: “Spider Plants and Air Plants! I absolutely love them. I feel like they represent me in a way—they’re a little unique, a little quirky, and they thrive by doing things their own way. Also, they low-key look like my hair on a lot of days.”

🌿What’s your favorite thing about the Potted community?🌿

Sarahlin: “There’s truly a place for everyone. I love that nobody has to “fit in” to belong. People can simply be themselves, and that’s something really special.”

🌟As the newest member of the staff team, what are you most excited to help with or contribute to?🌟

Sarahlin: “Typos! Just kidding. 😄 I’m excited to help new players, answer questions, and be a resource for the community. I also absolutely love seeing how people decorate and display their plants. Getting to see everyone’s creativity is one of my favorite parts of Potted.”

❤️Is there a particular pot, seed, event, or collection that holds a special place in your heart?❤️

Sarahlin: “The LE Conversation Heart Spider Plant Pot – XOXO with the matching Limited Edition XOXO Seed was my dream pot and seed when I first started playing. Cinny gifted it to me, which makes it even more special. I’ll always treasure it.”

🎨 When you’re not tending your SL garden, what hobbies or interests do you enjoy in Second Life and real life?🎨

Sarahlin: “In Second Life, I love working at The Bakery Woods Market, working on Foxtrot projects, hanging out at Ria Cat’s auctions and laughing, decorating, collecting plants, and – of course – watering!

In real life, I enjoy spending time with my family, making art, hanging out with my dog, and playing games like The Sims 4 and Animal Crossing. I’m definitely a gamer at heart, and when I’m not gaming, I’m usually making art or doing something creative.”

🌱 What’s one thing you’ve learned from playing Potted that surprised you or made the experience even more enjoyable?🌱

Sarahlin: “So many things! But one of the biggest lessons I learned was the importance of keeping a wide variety of pot levels in my collection.
Trust me – it comes in handy.” 😉

🌼 What message would you like to share with the Potted community as you begin this new adventure on the staff team?🌼

Sarahlin: “Thank you for welcoming me into the community and now onto the staff team! Potted has given me amazing friends, countless plants, and probably a watering addiction. I’m excited to help out, meet more people, and continue growing alongside all of you. If you see me around, please come say hi!”

🌿 A Warm Potted Welcome 🌿

We’re thrilled to have Sarahlin joining the Potted Staff Team and can’t wait to see the positive impact she’ll have on our community. Let’s show her a very warm welcome!

We look forward to more exciting experiences with you, Sarahlin! 💚
