Welcome back to the Potted Shed. Just a short one today to show the new Sim Benefit Pots for April, and a bit of a ‘Who’s who’ so be sure to read on to the end, especially if you are a newer member to the Potted Community.

Market Sim Benefit Pots

The above image shows off this months Market Sim Benefit Pot.
Potted! offer these Pots to the Official Potted Markets. From the 15th of the month the Markets can sell their Pots via live Auction or on a Bid Board. Most if not all Markets offering the Pots this month have them out on display already. I love the matching seeds that come with them. So vibrant! Good luck to anyone wishing to get their hands on one, both or more of these! There will only be a handful of each on the grid, so will be hard to find after they have retired.

Just a quick note
I have heard and have noticed people talking about ‘retired seeds’ since the Official Spreadsheet was released last week. This refers to General Pool Seeds.

Some General Pool Seeds have been retired, some recently, some a while ago, this information except for a couple of seeds has never been released before. What does ‘retired’ mean. Simply put – These seeds can no longer harvest randomly from your pots. Example. if you have a Candy Cane Ivy planted. That plant can not give you a Prism seed. and Vice Versa as both of those seeds are retired. However they can still clone. So if you have a Candy Cane planted it can give you Candy Cane Seed. Prism planted, it can give you a Prism seed. These are clones of the parent plant and NOT a random Harvest.
All 5 ‘starter seeds’ Ivy – English Garden, Spider – Classic Green, Philodendron – Iconic Greenery, Succulent – Fading Greens and Karnivore – Thorne have all been retire for a long time. For a short time after those plants came out they could be harvested. However they are retired so wont randomly Harvest from any plant. It could clone though! The Ivy, Spider, Philo and Succulent are in the starter pack. Thorne is still included in Patreon Pack Level 6+

Hopefully I have explained that well enough and will help to stop any confusion.

Who’s Who of Potted!

For newer and older Potted Players I thought it would be fun to give a Who’s Who and what they do in Potted Land.
Potted only have a small team working hard behind the scenes bringing us incredible things every month. Whether its General Pool Seed and Pots, LE Seeds and Pots, Events and lots of other good stuff. The team of 10 people are spread over different time zones as well which adds an extra obstacle, and we all have real lives to contend with (they are annoying but necessary) but its all a lot of fun! So who’s who!

– Cort. Owner, Project Lead, Artist, Everything and more.
Cort not only keeps us all in check, she’s always busy behind the scenes coming up with new ideas for seeds and pots.
– Amanda. Owner, Scripter, Artist.
Amanda is a scripting wiz behind the scenes. Finding new ways to improve what we have along with adding her creative flair designing new seeds.
– Krysta. Owner, Designer, Artist.
Krysta, generally the quiet one, expresses herself through the Karnivores. They are her BFF’s. Sometimes though the other plants will steal her away and will add her creativity to those, with Pots and Seeds.
– Fifi. Patreon.
If you have a question about Patreon Membership Fifi is the one to ask.
Lera. Designer, Artist.
Lera has been responsible for creating some of the iconic Karnivore Patreon Pots over the last year or so. Never ceases to amaze me of what she come out with next.
– Kyrene. Event Sim Builder.
Kyrene has an eye for detail and creates he most incredible builds over at the Potted Event Sim really enhancing the Events
– Cherry. Events Manager, CSR, DJ.
Cherry puts together the awesome events each month with owners, as well as popping up in the Groups answering and assisting Players. She also DJ’s at Potted Events.
– Claud. Markets Manager, CSR.
Claud keeps a check on all things Official Potted Markets as well as chatting in the groups helping players when needed.
– Sniper. CSR, Store Displays, DJ.
Sniper wont be a stranger to many, you will see him out and about in the Markets as well as in the Groups helping players when needed. At the start of every month Sniper builds a display showing off the new months Patreon Pack goodies, so you can see what is included rather than just reading about it. Sniper also DJs at Potted Events. He’s quite good at that.
– Shaun. CSR, Spreadsheet, Blog.
Me! I put together the Official Spreadsheet, taking thousands of pictures and will do my best to keep it 100% updated. Along with helping players in the group. Every week I also bring out one of these ‘Tales from a Potted Shed’ Blog to try and keep you all informed of what is happening in the world of Potted. With no set day of release it means I can keep it ‘live’ and bring you the most up to date info. Cort also said I am the ‘Potted Historian’ I don’t remember what I had for breakfast today let alone much else but I do try my best to remember and give the most accurate information I can.

You can find all of our names listed in the Potted group if you ever need to reach out to us. Come say ‘hi’ to us in the group.

This coming weekend There is a Patron Only Event. See the picture for details

That will wrap up this edition from the Shed. I hope you have found it insightful. Until next time. Take care of you and yours.
Shaun.
