We’re thrilled to announce Version 2.0 of Potted’s Harvest Bowls and Starter Seeds, featuring several quality-of-life improvements that make gardening more enjoyable than ever.

What’s New in Version 2.0

A Fresh Look for Your Harvest Bowls

Harvest Bowls have received a complete makeover! The new design makes seed packs much easier to see and interact with.

This is an empty Harvest Bowl.

Hovertext and Phantom Options

You can now adjust hovertext and phantom settings individually (in the menu) or apply changes to multiple Harvest Bowls and Seeds at once using our Universal Tools HUD or a Garden Center flag. This gives you complete control over your garden’s appearance.

Error Message Clarity

Hovertext and local text have been updated to show clearer error messages for easier troubleshooting.

Wait until you see this message when harvesting to avoid problems that could mean rerezzing.

This bowl just needs a rerez to fix communication after a harvest issue.

This error text also advises to rerez both the pot and the bowl. Please read the error text; sometimes you only need to rerez one item!

Plant Truck

Turn in unwanted seeds for 5 Plant Truck points each!

Starter Seeds

Starter seeds now match Harvest Bowls in float text and options, except for an indicator in the float text that they are starters (that just means they were purchased or won as a prize rather than harvested).

This new v2.0 Starter Seed shows text color and hovertext that matches harvested seeds for easier sorting. It shows ~Starter~ at the top to indicate that the seed was purchased or gifted – not harvested.

Important Notes & FAQs

What About My Current Items?

Good news! Your old Harvest Bowls will continue to function normally – no need for trade-ins or replacements. We’ve designed the update to be fully compatible with existing Pots.

Are All Potted Items Updated?

Our mainstore vendors now offer Version 2.0 Harvest Bowls. Boxed products are being updated gradually, so you might still encounter some older versions. All seeds will continue to work regardless of version.

When Will Everything Be Updated?

We’re working updating all Harvest Bowls and Seeds in the full Potted store to Version 2.0. This process is ongoing, and we appreciate your patience as we roll out these improvements.
