Its a quiet week for me, so I went hunting through the Potted Shed to see if I could find anything to shine a spot light on. I stumbled over an Eco-Elite 1k Composter. This was followed by an IM, someone asking “is this new from my 1k composter” that’s a question I have seen asked in the Main Group a few times, so I thought lets talk about those.

Back in April ’24, The compost seeds that were available prior to that were retired, meaning a whole new set of special 1k composter seeds were made available. How many of you can tell me how many 1k compost seeds are known right now. (I can only tell you about seeds I have seen, I have no information about any that ‘might’ exist, but not yet seen) Yes April was a little more than a few months ago, however these Seeds seem to pop up very few and far between.
When asking “is this new” that in my opinion means it is ‘new to you’ if you haven’t seen it, and with these 1k compost seeds that would make a lot of sense, because you really don’t see them being posted. Filling a 1k composter really does take commitment and can take weeks even months to fill it. Then keep in mind the Seed that you get from it is random. There is no way to know or influence which seed from the 1k composter pool. These seeds look great and finding the right pot for them is always tough.
I was given some seeds to use in this blog to show you how beautiful they are.
Any guesses as to how many there are known out there? Ok here goes. Take a look at these beauties, but which to show you first.. Hmm..

Eco- Elite 1k Composter – Succulent Seed – Yes, even Succulents have got in on the act, Of course these have only been available for a couple of months since the plant type was released. Right now I only know of 1 but there could be more not showing themselves yet. EDIT! – After publishing this Blog I was made aware of a second 1k Succulent compost seed. So I have added it in.

Pictures don’t really do them justice, the detail especially on the Ivys needs to be seen in person, potted in front of you and cam right in. The Philo’s are just… fun guys! *goes to sit in the corner of the Shed* they are epic but short of space as there isn’t much room …. *okay, okay.. I wont give up my day job! I love the spiders, so colorful, vibrant, and will brighten any corner of any garden.

Remember that the seed you get from the 1k composter pool is random, also remember that these will only come from the 1k composter, unless it is in a pot and it clones. Yes these do have the ability to clone.

Where can you buy an Eco-Elite 1k composter – Well these are special composters and are generally available at Potted Patreon events. They can be found out and about at Official Potted Markets, if people are reselling them. When will there be a new one available. Only time will tell because the Potted goddesses couldn’t tell me. Keep you eyes peeled and if you take on the challenge of filling a 1k composter. Good luck!

Oh no it wont! There is a spoiler I can share with you – When I say spoiler this may come as a disappointment to some, and same may rejoice.

I have had word that an old man will be hitting retirement – that old man is the Pot Man Spider Pot. He still has a little time before retirement hits but if he is one of your favorite pots then be sure to grab a few for later before he is gone! I also got word that there is going to be a new dude on the ground.. Into fitness.. or something like that .. So watch this space.. well not this space but… yeah.
