At Potted, we want the game’s market to stay fair and fun for everyone. Recently, we changed our prize seeds to No-Transfer because alt accounts were collecting many free seeds.

If a seed is No-Transfer, it means that the seed should be planted into the owner’s pot BEFORE the owner OFFERS OR ADVERTISES to transfer the seed, be that giving away, selling, auctioning or trading the pot. There should never be an Unplanted No-Transfer seed on an market stall or auction panel.

This keeps the prize seed special.

We don’t have the time to check every auction to make sure players follow this intention, but we hope the community will help by respecting it.

However, if we continue to see No-Transfer seeds being sold unplanted (with the buyer providing a pot), which goes against our intention to keep the market healthy, we may have to stop offering free gift seeds altogether, which we don’t want to do.
