Succulents

Introducing Succulents: The Newest Addition to Potted!

We’re excited to announce the launch of our latest plant line: succulents! These unique and versatile plants bring a fresh twist to the Potted experience!

How Succulents Work

Succulents in Potted are a bit different from our other plant species. Each succulent pot can be made up of four distinct plants, and every pot could showcase a different combination of those plants.

Each pot still takes only one seed, which controls the entire set of plants in the pot. For example, one seed might contain a green cactus, an orange hawthoria, a purple rosette, and a brown leafy plant. While the seed will always have those specific colors, not every pot will display all four plants. You might end up with just a hawthoria and a cactus in one pot, while another might feature the rosette and leafy plant.

The image below is planted with one seed and shows 4 different plants in it.

This Juniper pot shows 4 different plants from one seed.

The image below shows the same seed planted in another pot.

This Cajon pot is planted with the same seed, but only shows 2 of the plants. There is nothing wrong with the pot, just a different look for more variety in the garden!

To help you make the best choice for your collection, we’ve placed demos in the store so you can preview the final pot before planting. If you’re on the lookout for a stunning fat cactus, you can select a pot that highlights it beautifully.

Composters and Succulent Seeds

Good news for compost enthusiasts: our composters already accept succulent seeds!

However, succulent seeds are not yet available in the composters to discover. We’ll make an announcement as soon as they’re added to the mix, so you’ll know when to start searching for these exciting new additions.

We can’t wait to see how you incorporate succulents into your gardens. Happy planting!
